I am a graduate of this course and my intention in this review is to share my own thoughts and experiences based on participating in the GBI in Melbourne, Australia in May 2011.

T Harv Eker’s Seminars

For those who don’t know, Harv is a charismatic, successful, flamboyant ‘ultra salesman’. Dubbed a ‘financial evangelist’ by the American media, he is on a self-confessed mission to assist all who desire it in creating financial freedom and positive transformation in their lives.

As anyone who’s been to one of T Harv Eker’s seminars will know very well, the material taught is not only read or heard, but the teaching style is engaging and multi-sensory, making it virtually impossible not to absorb a wealth of value from the training given.

Of course it’s always down to the individual to take what they’ve learned and run with it – implementing what you’ve gained from the seminar is where the true test is. For anyone who genuinely desires to accelerate and increase their business success and act upon what they are taught here, I believe that this seminar is thoroughly worth while.

My experience of the Guerrilla Business Intensive

The event was guided and delivered by the irrepressible Alex Mandossian, a hugely successful marketer in his own right, and one of the most elite marketers on the internet today.

Now – I was mildly disappointed when I learned that Harv would only be appearing a few times during the seminar, and on the screens – not the stage, but Alex’s infectious energy and expertise put paid to that feeling very quickly, especially when the time came for him to roll out his very own ‘Grand Unification Theory of Social Media’ (more on that soon)

The Guerrilla Business Intensive offers the perfect platform for business networking too – a room full of passionate people with skills and services to offer, open to learn and eager to grow. Training encompasses listening, watching, playing, writing, presenting, and various other means which makes for a both fun and effective learning environment.

Not only did I come away with some wonderful new connections and a wealth of marketing and business knowledge, but my business plan and vision has been catapulted light years forward (again – watch this space!).

Guest speaker Joel Roberts (Media Consultant to Harv Eker himself, as well as the Chicken Soup for the Soul team, John Assaraf and many more) added another completely different edge to the seminar with his training on Excellence in Media and the Language of Impact. Worth it’s weight in entertainment value alone, his two sessions wove an almost magical element into the proceedings as he shared the process for divining exactly what it is that makes you and your business unique.

As to be expected from any T Harv Eker Seminar there is more than a mild dose of upsell going on to keep you in the pipeline – a few more courses were offered (not as many or as hard-sell as in the MMI) and of course the ‘in seminar specials’ are virtually irresistible.

My GBI Seminar Conclusion:

I guess it’s clear by now (unless you skipped the body of this post in which case go back and read it now!) that I enjoyed this seminar immensely and learned so much from it that I almost don’t know where to go from here.

I recommend heartily to anyone interested in getting a real grip on what it takes to build, develop and grow a business and market it successfully that you find out when this seminar is taking place next and get your seat. As far as I can tell, the best value way to get a ticket is to attend the Millionaire Mind Intensive which is cheap (or free) and take the offer made there, check Harv’s Blog for upcoming event information.
